Early Wonderfuls will make their appearance by the beginning of September, and by the middle of October, the Wonderful variety will be available and we will see the deep ruby red exterior color that typifies the Pomegranate. Just about any dish will be enhanced by a sprinkling of the pomegranate’ s tart, glistening seeds, which are the perfect size for garnishing dishes throughout a meal. They add texture, color and a burst of flavor to vegetable or fruit salads they provide a lovely finish for soups point up the acidity of a sauce for meat or fowl and look ravishing on fruit desserts, ices, ice creams, and tarts.
