Red Admiral Broccoli differs from traditional broccoli because it has dark purple spears. This variety was developed originally to fill the December to January gap of Broccoli but this variety is now grown into late winter and early spring.
Red Admiral Broccoli has a long stem with many high quality spears with few scattered leaves. This Broccoli variety can be used as any other variety. Eat raw, sautéed, and roasted in salads or along with a main course.
