The blood orange is a seasonal favorite. The deep red flesh is where this orange gets its name. Chef Dan says it has a taste that is "slightly bitter and slightly acidic, but with nice raspberry undertones." The glorious color really makes a great menu addition, whether it is for segments for salads or savory dishes, or as juice for mixology applications.
